Course Information

The Silver Goaltending Coach Education Course is the second step in the USA Hockey Goaltending Accreditation process and is welcome to all hockey coaches who are looking to better support their goaltenders in practice and in games. In order to be eligible to attend this course you must have already earned your bronze goalie coach certification. You may only take one goaltending course per calendar year and no refunds will be made available if for any reason you can no longer attend the class. 

This is a hybrid (virtual/in-person) course that requires coaches to attend all three online 3 hour classes, submit their homework between classes, and attend the in-person weekend event in order to receive credit. This course is worth all 5 continuing education credits.

 In-Person Event

Wednesday Jan 31st - Friday Feb 2nd in Anaheim, CA 

This event will be partnered with the Anaheim Ducks. Coaches will need to arrive in Anaheim on Wednesday January 31st by 7:30pm for the Ducks vs. Sharks NHL Game. Thursday and Friday will consist of classroom work and on-ice training. All coaches must bring their on-ice coaching equipment, including their helmets. The event will conclude late Friday night.
