Course Description:
This one-hour, one-credit Continuing Education course is designed to help coaches and program directors identify and implement key priorities to develop a successful hockey program. The course covers essential areas such as skill development, team culture, player progression, and long-term goals. Participants will learn how to balance immediate team needs with long-term player development, build a cohesive coaching philosophy, and establish priorities that ensure sustained program success.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand how to define and prioritize key areas of focus within a hockey program.
  • Learn to develop a balanced approach that integrates individual skill development, team systems, and culture-building.
  • Explore strategies for creating a sustainable program that fosters both short-term success and long-term player growth.

Format:
This live Zoom course includes presentations, case studies from successful programs, and interactive discussions on setting and implementing hockey program priorities.
